Situated in East London, founded in 2004 and with its gallery opening in 2007, Concrete Hermit is a shop and gallery that showcases the work of various modern illustrators and graphic designers. Built mostly on centuries of naval trade, the Netherlands’ prosperous economy made a healthy business enterprise atmosphere and one of a kind position for design and style: there seems to be adequate function for everybody, and the scene does not appear overly competitive, at least by international standards.

They experimented with new techniques of pictorial and typographical execution, and thus a new style was born. In the course of the opening weekend Neon Moiré will be there to see and study about contemporary graphic design. Exhibiting graphic design and style is pretty a particular factor, from time to time even controversial, but we see that it enables the designers to experiment and reflect on their function.
